Part of investment returned, credit note received

Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased two products, X and Y, and recorded them as an investment over three years. I have now returned item Y and received a credit note for this, which is the amount of Y minus £30 in transport costs.

How can I enter this in Dexxter?

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps a follow-up question first :) You mention products purchased... Do you mean trade goods? Things you buy to sell later?

Because if so, they were not investments in the first place, so we need to correct that.

Another question: was the value more than 250 euros? Because that is also a criterion for talking about investments.

.

Hello, this was a wasp suit costing 500 euros. So not trade goods.
