Question

Hello everyone,

I made a purchase from VistaPrint. The address on the invoice is in the Netherlands, but the vAT number is Belgian.

How should I classify this supplier in Dexxter? As a company inside the EU or as a belgian company, given the vAT number?

If I select ‘Company inside the EU’ and then ‘Netherlands’, I cannot use a belgian vAT number.

Thanks 🙂

If there is a BE vAT number on it, I think you can use the BE vAT number? They will have charged 21% vAT and put a BE vAT number on their invoice, so I think it's okay.

I've had that happen before, but I can't remember the supplier. It is quite common for Dutch companies to have Belgian vAT numbers. If vAT has been charged, you use the Belgian vAT number and consider the company to be a Belgian company. The vAT number is more important for administrative purposes.
