Telenet costs excl. VAT

Question

I am self-employed in a secondary occupation, subject to VAT, and we have a private person all-in Telenet subscription with TV, internet and 5 SIM cards. So every month I receive a statement instead of an invoice (because we don’t have a business account with Telenet). I would like to enter a percentage of the monthly cost, but the statement only shows the cost incl. VAT. To enter a cost in Dexxter, I also have to enter the price excl. VAT. Do I calculate this myself? I assume that 21% VAT also applies to telecoms?

Bwaa. Just fill in the exclusive and inclusive amounts together, for both you take the total amount including VAT. Then set the vAT deduction to 0% and you can continue. You are not going to recover vAT because of a statement and no invoice. And then 0% vAT.
