Error code when submitting tax return: E_TVA_DECLARANT_REGIME_NOT_ALLOWED

Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am submitting my very first quarter return after starting as a self-employed person in main occupation on 02/01/2024. However, I get the next error code on Intervat when I try to submit my return: “E_TVA_DECLARANT_REGIME_NOT_ALLOWED”

Does anyone have any idea how I can resolve this?

Google says: one of the grids 71 or 72 must be filled in. That is the balance you will receive or have to pay.

You say you only started on 02/01/2024, quarter 1 runs from 1/1/2024 to 31/03/2024 and you have to submit the quarterly return for this first quarter by 20/04/2024.
