Ticking ‘included in vAT declaration’

Question

Hi!

For an invoice that you pay privately and which therefore does not state your vAT number (e.g. electricity) that you submit for the part used for professional purposes, do you need to tick the ‘included in vAT declaration’ box in the Dexxter tool?

When should you tick the box? Except in situations where you still want to submit expenses that belong to a quarter that has already been closed.

Thanks!

I think you should tick it more if the selling party is not subject to VAT.

Think of a social insurance fund, which is not subject to VAT, and then you can tick it. Or the government, for example, with their road tax or provincial tax; the government is not subject to VAT.

Then you can tick that it should be included in the vAT declaration. Although I don't think it's a disaster if you include it all in the vAT declaration.
