Purchases of mobile phone + Proximus subscription

Question

I bought a new mobile phone together with a subscription from Proximus. This means that I paid an advance of approximately 390 euros and now pay for my Proximus subscription each month.

The invoice from my mobile phone states in my name, but because my husband went to pick up the phone, the subscription with Proximus is in his name.

How do I record this phone? Just as an advance payment, and does this phone have to be depreciated? I assume not, given the small advance payment.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I would indeed not write it off, given the small amount, but mainly because a modern mobile phone may not last three full years.

Please note that if you are subject to VAT, no VAT recovery is possible unless your company number is stated on your purchase invoice. If you are exempted from VAT, this is not a problem.

Thank you for your response.
