Paint, wallpaper, new furniture

Question

Under which category should I put paint, wallpaper and new furniture for starting a new business? What are the deduction percentage from these products? Can they be written off in one go or over x number of years, and how do you enter that?

View each item individually: what was the cost price of your paint, what was the cost price of your wallpaper, furniture, etc.?

If it is more than £500 per item, then I would start writing it off (i.e. enter it as an investment). See the learning center for videos on this topic back.

So if you buy one pot of paint from 250 euros and that's all you need for the paint, then I would honestly put that directly into costs. Small purchases of all kinds or any cost category. Just too small to write off.

If it is for a space that you will use almost exclusively for professional purposes, then 100% professional use %.
