I believe that for such purchases, you need to draw up a sales agreement between the buyer and seller (if you are buying from a private person). You can find templates for this on the internet. You can, of course, include this document in your accounts.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
