Entering sales items

Question

I create stained glass windows for private persons without invoices and I am exempted from VAT. Do I have to enter each stained glass window as a sales item? Is this required?

Dear JDB,

No, you do not have to. For your sales to private persons for which you do not issue invoices, you use daily receipts. At the end of each day, you simply indicate how many items of which product you sold and what amount you received on, without the details of the various customers. 'Y x Stained glass windows' is specific enough for this purpose.

For more information about daily receipts, search for 'daily receipts' in the learning center (hat icon at the top right of your dashboard).
