Advance payments for sole proprietors no longer required in 2026?

Question

Will this still be required in 2026? I thought I heard that the tax increase for sole proprietors would be abolished, see, among other things, https://blog.degandpartners.com/nl/article/optimalisatie-van-advance payments-vb-in-2025-strategy-adapting-to-the-new-tax-measures/26385

According to this source, this will indeed happen, but it has not yet been voted on in parliament. Always be cautious with matters that have not yet been voted on.

It is, of course, important to find out in good time...
