Inventory – including ingredients

Question

I work with a lot of ingredients, so I still have some inventory. I would like to pass on my inventory. But I read that here it often concerns trade goods (finished products or packaging). Does anyone know whether ingredients (sugar, flour, colourings) also belong to the inventory?

What exactly do you mean by passing on?

I would think that in your case (I don't have many details, but I think I can deduce it), the sugar, flour, colouring, etc. also belong to your inventory.

Anyway, if we're talking about 50 euros (just a random amount), then to be honest, I wouldn't include that in the inventory. It's just too small (my opinion based on practical experience!), but if it's worth a bit more, then I think you should include it in the inventory.

I bake cakes as a secondary occupation. I am required to report my inventory. For me, this includes sugar, flour, but also boxes for packaging and such. I also have a lot of bottles of food colouring (+/- 43 at an average of €5 each), so that's already a serious amount, and I haven't even counted my sprinkles yet. But when I look at the description of trade goods, it mainly concerns finished products. So I'm not sure whether I should include these in my inventory. Thanks for the explanation anyway.

Dear,

Apparently, it also concerns unfinished trade goods. Search for 'inventory' in the community. Giel has answered there.
