Question

Hello everyone

In January 2022, I paid for the creation of a logo. I only applied for my company registration number to in November 2022. I have a few questions about this:

1) When I want to enter these costs, I am asked for the fiscal date… What should I choose here, and more importantly, why?

2) In January 2021, I paid for a training course (which lasted a year). Can I still enter these costs?

Thanks in advance!

Katrien

Are you VAT exempted? Because then the fiscal date doesn't matter, as long as it's in the same year.

Whether you put January 2022 or November 2022, as long as it's 2022. There are no quarterly vAT declarations, only an annual personal income tax. So, as long as the year is correct.

As for your second question, I think so. But try searching for 'start-up', I think there's something from an learning center there.

Thank you very much!

Hello, I incurred some costs in November 2024 and created my company number on 3 January 2025. I am subject to VAT, so how do I record that? Kind regards, Arthur
