Tastings of customers at cafés/restaurants

Question

Hello everyone,

one content of my activities involves organising culinary tours, during which drinks or snacks are sometimes ordered for customers.

Now I read that restaurant visits with customers are often only 69% deductible, or not at all. Can anyone explain this to me here?

Kind regards,
Yves

I would indeed claim 100% of the cost, perhaps not under restaurant costs, but create a new cost category: 'culinary tours'. In this case, the business percentage may be higher than 69%, for example 100%.

Kind regards, Louise
