Car purchases for a secondary occupation

Question

I need a new car for my secondary occupation as a mobile pedicure. Without a car, I cannot carry out my secondary occupation. Can I claim this as an investment? Will I then become subject to VAT, as I am currently exempt as a small business?

You do not have to be subject to VAT to purchase a car, but it can be useful, of course, because you can then recover the vAT. Although, as a mobile professional, you must check whether you fall under Article 44, in which case you cannot be subject to VAT.

However, it is of course possible to make car purchases (partly) for professional use! There are many interesting articles about this in the Dexxter learning center!

Regards, A.
