Dishwasher office/private: what percentage can be claimed as an expense?

Question

I bought a new dishwasher. It states in our private kitchen, but I also use it to wash dishes from my office. Can I claim part of the purchase cost and, yes, what percentage?

Hello IS, there are no fixed percentages involved here. As you probably know, all percentages must appear credible if you are audited. Given the location, I would certainly not put 50 per cent here. Check how many times a week you could run a full dishwasher with office items compared to your private use.

In conclusion, 10-15 per cent is less likely to be questioned by the audit services, taking into account the location of your dishwasher.

Thank you!
