Subcontractor wasp exterminator

Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am enabled as a wasp exterminator. I also receive offers to exterminate wasps in a region that is a bit far away for me. I know an other exterminator there who is happy to do this; he is also self-employed in secondary occupation.

Example: he exterminates a wasp nest for my company (in subcontracting, I assume?), and I invoice the customer for, say, 60 euros incl. VAT. The other wasp exterminator receives 50 euros from me and I receive 10 euros.

That’s the idea, but how do I do this correctly and how do I best register it in Dexxter?

Many thanks in advance!

Sounds good!

Here's how to register this correctly in Dexxter:

Sales invoice:

  • Create a sales invoice from €60 to your end customer for the wasp extermination</

    Purchase invoice subcontractor:

    • Question the other wasp exterminator to send you an invoice from €50

    • Register this as an expense in Dexxter under the cost category "Subcontracting" (this is already there standard).

      Result:

      • Income: £60

      • Expense: £50 (subcontracting)</

This is completely correct from a tax perspective, so it is perfectly acceptable. The other exterminator works as a subcontractor for your company, and you remain responsible to the end customer.
