Entering daily receipts: total amount sufficient or to be split for sold products?

Question

When entering my total daily receipts from more than £250, I received the next information:

For each item sold with a unit price above £250, you must create a separate line in your daily receipts, stating the customer and description. Items with a unit price below €250 may be added together and entered on a single line if they were sold on the same day.Situation: I sold various products with a unit price below £20 at a Christmas market for a total of £400. Can I enter a single line with total receipts from that day of £400, or do I have to enter a separate line for each type of product with the relevant subtotal?

I would appreciate advice on this as soon as possible 😉

Thanks in advance!

If your unit price is above £250, you need to provide more details. But if you sell products from less than £20, your unit price is not above £250.

I would group all your products that have the same price on one line. Hopefully that helps!
