As a small business, I want a subscription that is not subject to VAT. If paid yearly, this would cost 180 euros. When I have to pay, this amount changes to 217 euros! Why?

A subscription does indeed cost £180 per year excluding VAT. So the amount of £217 is the amount including VAT ;-).
Update October 2026: our prices have changed since this answer. Dexxter now costs 220 euros per year excl. VAT if you are not subject to VAT or exempt from VAT, and 290 euros per year excl. VAT if you are subject to VAT.
We charge 21% VAT on the subscription. Because a business that is not subject to VAT cannot recover that VAT, you pay 266.20 euros including VAT for the annual subscription.

You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
