Financial transparency is often lacking in the yoga industry

Emma Muyshondt, Nebula Yoga

Emma Muyshondt is the founder of Nebula Yoga. After completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training program in Indonesia in 2022, she decided to use her knowledge and skills to start her own yoga studio, Nebula Yoga. She recognized the growing demand for accessible yoga and focused on a broad audience: from young adults to retirees.

Her approach? A strategic focus on offering accessible yoga classes, with an emphasis on breathing, mobility, and flexibility. Emma’s sessions take place with musical accompaniment or even outdoors, creating a unique experience for her clients.

Every new business comes with its share of surprises

Emma’s journey as an entrepreneur wasn’t without challenges at first. As with any new business, she faced surprises. Unforeseen costs, social security contributions, and the constant uncertainty about whether everything was in order made the first year stressful. Especially in the yoga sector, where financial transparency is often lacking and training programs can be very expensive, it was important for Emma to get a handle on the business side of her company.

Still, Emma managed to overcome these challenges. Her goal for the future is simple: to grow—and to do so with great joy. She remains driven to further develop her business and share her passion for yoga with even more people.

Efficient bookkeeping

Since May, Emma has been using Dexxter for her accounting, an important step in optimizing her business operations. Previously, she had no structured way to manage her finances, but Dexxter offered her a solution that is both user-friendly and cost-effective. What she particularly likes is that she now has control over her own accounting and has learned a lot about what’s involved.

Dexxter has not only saved Emma time but also given her a sense of confidence. The tool provides clarity and simplicity, particularly when it comes to filing personal income tax returns.

For Emma, Dexxter is a no-brainer for other entrepreneurs who want to stay on top of their accounting without incurring major costs. The Belgian DIY tool enables her to manage her finances independently and efficiently, giving her a sense of control and autonomy. Emma recommends Dexxter to anyone looking for an affordable and practical accounting solution.

Keep asking questions

Emma emphasizes that running a business isn’t something you have to do entirely on your own. Her most important advice to starting entrepreneurs is to ask questions and seek help when needed. “There are many people who know more than you do—take advantage of that,” she says. With the right guidance and tools, such as Dexxter, you can be better prepared as an entrepreneur to face the challenges that come your way.
