The idea is that I will be at a Christmas market next week.
For this, I need to pay rent from the chalet, but also buy all sorts of things to decorate the stand.
Where do I put the rent and purchases?

Hello, perhaps this video from Dexxter, "Which cost category to choose", can help you: https://player.vimeo.com/video/915474543. Good luck!
Hi KS,
You can enter that rent as 'office rental'. Or create your own cost category 'chalet rental', in line with 'office rental'.
As for the decorations, these will be reception costs (e.g. garlands, decorations, plants, etc.), which means they are only 50% deductible. That's a shame, but it's a legal limit in Belgium. If they are functional items (such as a clock, (heat) lamp, lampshade, etc.), you can enter them as 'Miscellaneous small purchases'.
Regards, Ad.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
