Question

If I am not subject to VAT, do I have to carry out the second step in the closure process (notify the vAT authorities)?

After all, I do have a vAT number.

Good morning

I just closed my business today. I was also exempted, but I have to go through both steps anyway. I did this through Acerta (I was affiliated with them) and they are handling both matters. I paid 166 euros for this.
