What if I don’t end up entering the invoice?

Question

Suppose… I make a purchase but am not sure whether I will enter it as a business expense in my accounts.

I therefore pay privately/in cash but do receive an invoice.

Later, I decide not to enter this invoice after all.

Does this have any consequences for me and/or my supplier?

If you have had an invoice created to your company number, it must be entered in your accounts. If it, for example, is stated in your supplier's accounts, it must also be in yours. But in that case, you can enter it as 0% business-related. That way, it has no impact.

Best regards, Gitta
