Private car as an expense in a secondary occupation

Question

Can I claim part of my private car (light goods vehicle) as an expense in my secondary occupation and do I need to provide proof of payment for this?

Yes, you can. I did that in the beginning too. Just enter the car in your Dexxter and set the percentage of business use to whatever you think is appropriate. (For me, it was 45%) From then on, you can enter everything: petrol, maintenance, insurance, you name it. Dexxter will calculate everything for you.
