Not allowed to carry out self-employed activities according to the tenancy agreement

Question

I rent an apartment, and the lease agreement states that I am not allowed to carry out any independent activity. That was not the case when I signed it, but I have since become a draughtsman in my main occupation. So I do my work at home. If I don’t contribute to the rent, is it still allowed? Or do I need to have a new lease agreement drawn up?

I think you will have to register an other registered office for your business?

Thank you for your answer. :)

I searched it up and found this:

Do you have a sole proprietor? Then the registered office is always your home address.

You have to be very careful with everything related to rental contracts. Things can go wrong very quickly. Be sure to discuss this with your landlord and talk about the possibility of changing the rental agreement from one.

I will bring it up, thank you for your response.
