Question

Hello, I am self-employed with a sole proprietor.
To carry out my work, I need a light goods vehicle.
I went to get a quotation yesterday, and the seller told me that a business lease (all-in) is more advantageous for self-employed people. (Here, maintenance, registration, insurance, tyres, etc. are included.)

What is your experience with this?

Exactly what is more advantageous from a tax perspective will depend on the exact cost and your circumstances. If you buy a van, you will be able to write it off over 5 years and claim 100% of the cost. If you opt for leasing or renting, you will have to include this in your monthly accounts.
