Job bonus

Question

If you are entitled to the job bonus and/or the job bonus plus for self-employed persons (https://www.vlaio.be/nl/subsidies-financiering/subsidiedatabank/jobbonus-plus-voor-startende-zelfstandigen), should you include this in your accounts as income?

In this year, I will receive the regular job bonus for 2022, but it seems logical to me that this should not be included in the accounts because I was not yet self-employed in 2022.

  • Next year, the job bonus will (partly) relate to my income as a self-employed person. I know that you have to include it in your tax return, but do you also have to include it in your accounts? (I suspect the answer will be ‘no’; otherwise, I will have some follow-up questions. 🙂 )

  • 30-day free trial. No credit card required.

You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
