Question

I used to create invoices for private persons BE customers without having their full address (advance payment for a photo shoot). It is not really necessary for me to have the address, as the name and email address are sufficient to send an invoice for payment. Now I suddenly get a message that I can only create draft invoices because the address is not filled in.

Is this a change? Do I now have to question all my customers for their address when booking a shoot so that I can send them the advance invoice for payment?

I have the same problem, I have submitted it to support.
The bot contradicts itself. It hasn't been trained good yet ;-)

Answer from support:
It is indeed a legal requirement to state your customer's address.

This also applies to private persons. Because we noticed that errors were occurring here because users were not filling this in, we have recently made this a required field. We cannot ignore the legal obligation.However, we do not check the addresses in Dexxter. You can therefore enter an '*' or '-' in the fields at your own responsibility. But please be aware that this does not meet the legal requirements for a correct invoice. And you may be held accountable for this here in the event of an audit.

My answer is actually a question, but do we also have to adjust all addresses in past invoices where no address is mentioned for private persons? For example, from the 2024 financial year?
