Donated devices for spare parts

Question

Hello everyone,

Can I simply charge parts that I recover from a defective device to the repair invoice? I do not have a proof of purchase for these devices as I did not buy them.

Is it required to include these donated goods in the accounts?
I already have some expenses, so for me it is not necessary to include this as a cost. I am a self-employed student.

Hello, could you provide some more information about this?

I repair all kinds of electronic devices. Many people who know me bring their discarded TVs, radios, etc. to me for parts. From these scrap devices, I recover a number of resistors, capacitors, etc. When I repair a device for a customer, I charge, for example, 5x resistors at 1 euro each. I cannot provide proof of purchases for these resistors. Is this a problem?
