difference between expenses and depreciation

Question

What is the difference between the expenses category and the depreciation category?

Expenses are items that you put directly into costs, so in the year itself, the entire expense immediately counts as a cost for your accounting.

A depreciation is the result of an investment, but be sure to check out the learning center for more information.

Kind regards, Joris</

I don't quite understand. Does this mean that I have to put all of that under depreciations? Will you check this too? I still have 15 days left of my trial period and I'm not sure what to do, so I'm curious to see if I'll get the help I need, because all these videos have me confused.

Now I'm curious to see if I'll get the help I need so I can decide whether this site is good for me or not.
