Depreciation – what about theft?

Question

I have an electric bicycle listed under my depreciations, but it was recently stolen. What about the residual value from my depreciation?
I can’t adjust my depreciation myself, so how should I adjust this in Dexxter so that I no longer charge depreciation for a bicycle that is no longer there?
Can I mark it as ‘sold’ with a value of £0, for example?

Sell it to yourself for €0.00 (or €0.01 if €0.00 is not technically possible due to a blocking message or something similar). Just to yourself, so you can still enter a customer. Of course, it doesn't matter, it's just 'as if' to make the accounts balance.

Then Dexxter will immediately stop the residual value of the bicycle from being entered in this year's accounts, as required.

Ah, that's clear! Thank you!
