Car deduction

Question

As a self-employed person in secondary occupation, can I claim the full purchase invoice for my car (bought 3 years ago as a private person and paid off in full)? Or is this car partly private and partly for my profession? If so, how is it determined how much of this I can claim? I do not use the car for my main profession.

Thanks in advance.

You will be able to claim it, I think. Or rather, I did anyway ;) But in any case, not 100% for professional purposes, because you also use it privately.

There is an article stated in Dexxter about old purchases, you should search it. And I claimed 20% for professional purposes.p>

My girlfriend also has a car and we intend to do everything privately with her car. Then I can still enter my car as 100% professional (even though I only use it three days a week)?

Yes, you can. If you are effectively 100% professional, it doesn't matter if it's only for three days.

I don't think this is correct. The tax authorities will not accept this during an audit. A 100% deduction is only possible for driving schools or taxis that record every kilometre and have real proof that they do not use the car for private purposes.
