Question

I am a photographer and therefore have an Adobe subscription. I already had a licence from before I became self-employed. I receive monthly invoices with vAT charged (or taxes as stated on the invoice). There is an option in my customer environment to enter a vAT number, but when I do this, I get an error message and it seems that a Belgian number is not recognised. Their support team cannot help me here.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Are there people who have been able to enter their vAT number?

Would it help to stop the subscription and open a new one?

I just checked, and it was success for me. The vAT states '0'. vAT format: vAT BExxxxxxxxx, so without spaces or dots (or at least, that's what I see on my invoice).I also have an Adobe subscription, and my vAT number is also stated, but I became a customer with my business account, so I entered my vAT number immediately. Enter your vAT number without dots or spaces. If that doesn't work, taking out a new subscription might be interesting, as my vAT is reversed for me because this company is based in Ireland. Can I take advantage of this? I already have a private person's licence for Adobe Premiere to the price of €26.40 per month incl. VAT. If I were to switch to a professional licence, I would suddenly be paying €33.49 excl. VAT. Why do you select a company licence? Isn't that more expensive?

I paid £19.99 for my licence, excluding vAT. So it's a company licence. This is the cheapest option.
