120% Kostenaftrek

Good news for entrepreneurs! From January 1, 2025, 120% of your e-invoicing expenses will be tax-deductible.

What is Peppol and why is it smart?

Peppol is an electronic invoice network that is being used by an increasing number of companies and governments. What’s more, its use will be a legal requirement from January 1, 2026.

Would you like to know more about Peppol? Find out here!

Dexxter offers Peppol!

You can send your invoices via Peppol through Dexxter. This means you can benefit from the 120% cost deduction.

How to process this extra 20%?

Go to “Reports” and then click on “Income & expenses”. On that page, click on “Manual input” in the top right-hand corner.

Then choose the cost category “Dexxter costs” and enter the extra 20%.

Note that we are talking about an increase to 120% of the deductible expense.

  • Are you an entrepreneur exempted from VAT (these also have to comply with Peppol legislation)? Then your deductible professional expense for an annual subscription to Dexxter is 180 euros excluding VAT + 21% VAT = 217.80 euros. The non-deductible VAT is included in the expense. You can now increase these 217.80 euros by 20%, so you can add 43.56 euros.
  • Are you an entrepreneur subject to VAT? Then your deductible professional expense for an annual subscription to Dexxter is 180 euros excluding VAT. You can recover the VAT on this purchase. You can now increase these 180 euros by 20%, so you can add 36.00 euros.
