Question

Dear

During a video call with you, it was mentioned not to enter more than €250 per day. I lost sight of this and did not receive an ‘error message’. Can I leave the days above €250 as they are? Or do I have to delete part of the daily receipts and enter them on other day?

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion! :) But you can definitely enter more than €250 per day via daily receipts, that's no problem at all. Actually, it's probably more than €250 per transaction that was discussed. The limit of > €250 per transaction is the limit above which you have to make a separate entry in the daily receipts. So if you enter something in your daily receipts book that is more than €250 per unit, you have to make a separate entry in your accounts, in other words a separate entry per unit. For example, I sold four cakes from £300 per cake, all on the same day. I would then have to make four separate entries in my daily receipts book. So, on that same day, I would have to enter on four separate lines that I sold a cake (with a little more detail). Suppose I sold four cakes from £10 each, all on the same day. Then I would only have to make one entry in my daily receipts book. So on that same day, I would simply write on one line: "4 x cakes sold from £10 each" -> with a total price of £40.

If the same customer buys something for 300 and something for 50 EUR (same vAT %), at the same time, are that 1 or 2 lines for that day?
