Accounting codes

Question

Dear Sir/Madam,

When I want to request the codes for personal income tax/returns, I get the message ‘You did not do your accounting in Dexxter in the previous year.’ It also states ‘Based on the start date of your business, 01-01-2019, you must include additional codes in your personal income tax return that specifically relate to your self-employed activity. But you did not do your accounting for 2020 in Dexxter.’ I don’t understand this. I started using Dexxter in October 2021, but I did enter the entire year 2021 in Dexxter so that I would have a complete year in my summary.

I don’t understand why I am getting a message saying that I did not do my accounting for 2020 in Dexxter and why this has an impact on my accounting from 2021. Surely this does not apply, since 2020 was submitted on the previous year (in 2021)? Am I overlooking something?

But are you in the 2022 financial year (you can see this at the top right)?

You need to be in 2022 and then go to personal income tax -> return. It also states which year it concerns. So I think that will solve your problem?

THANK YOU! That was indeed it, I was looking at 2021. Solved! :-)
