Purchases from second-hand shops or eBay.

Question

I repair electronic devices. Sometimes I have to make purchases on second-hand sites or eBay to be able to repair a device (of course, there is no purchase invoice for this).
How should or can I handle this from an accounting perspective? Purchase under my own name and then sell under my business name so that I do have a purchase invoice? Is this an option?

Hey,

I used the next article to record such purchases: dexxter.be/kopen-van-een-particulier.

It states very clearly what to do and also provides a template for how to set it up.
