A question for a starting entrepreneur. How can I enter in Dexxter that, as a subject to VAT business, I have paid VAT on an invoice (i.e. amount including VAT) and can therefore reclaim it and not have to pay it again? For example, for purchases made before starting my business or from companies where I cannot create a professional account?
I will encounter this regularly in my business. Or is this something that is not possible?

But you will always pay vAT on Belgian purchases. You pay it to your supplier first, then you recover it via your vAT declaration. That's what you mean, right?
Look in the top right-hand corner and search for 'course'. The section on vAT could certainly be useful!
Apologies. It concerns a European company (specifically Bol.com). I forgot to mention that in my questions. So the vAT would then be reversed. Do I simply declare the expense as vAT paid and can I then reclaim it via the vAT declaration, or am I not entitled to a vAT refund?
No, because that vAT has been charged incorrectly. Bol.com invoices you as if you were a private person and therefore charges their local vAT rate.
Unfortunately, you cannot reclaim vAT that has been charged incorrectly.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
