Closing the financial year for small self-employed persons – vAT exemption

Question

Hi,

I started as a self-employed person in March 2023 with a VAT exemption (yearly turnover < 25,000 euro excluding VAT).

If I understand it in a good way, I did not have to submit any vAT declarations during the past year. Now that the end of the financial year is approaching, I am wondering whether I need to submit a blank vAT declaration for the past year (all at once)? Is it correct that I also have two other accounting obligations, namely personal income tax and customer list?

As this is my first year as a self-employed person in a secondary occupation, I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm exactly which documents I need to submit and which I don’t.

Thank you very much in advance!

What I have been told is that you do not have to submit anything from vAT declaration, not even a blank form.

I did not have to submit a customer list either.

Thank you! So, basically, I do not have to submit anything? Just personal income tax in the middle of this year?
