Installing air conditioning -> expense?

Question

I use the attic space in my parents’ house (so not my property) as a therapy room. Now I am thinking about having a permanent air conditioning unit installed there. But now my question is: can I claim this? And if yes, to which percentage? It’s not my own home, but a space that is only used for my secondary occupation.

Thanks in advance!

You can definitely claim it. I used to do that when my accountant was still checking my books. The fact that it's not your home doesn't matter when the costs are relatively low. It just has to be for professional purposes.

But I would set the professional use percentage to less than 100%, unless you really use it 100% for professional purposes, of course. But that's probably not the case? Or maybe it is, of course :)
