BRINGING IN A VAN

Question

Hello,

I am currently self-employed in secondary occupation, but in November I will be switching to main occupation.
I have used my own money to buy a van that I will use for my business.
So I didn’t take out a loan.
My question is, can I still contribute it, and if yes, how?

Kind regards,

Henckens Mattia

Hi,

It doesn't really matter whether you bought it outright or took out a loan for it. You can simply record it as an investment in light goods vehicles. There are some interesting articles about light goods vehicles in the learning center, including articles about vAT deduction and other tax benefits, so it's definitely worth taking a look.

Regards, J.
