Question

HOW DO I ENTER A SUPPORT CARD FOR AN ASSOCIATION AS AN EXPENSE?

Dear CV,

Sponsorship is a somewhat special expense. You must be able to demonstrate that, in exchange for your contribution, advertising is being done for you. This can be done, for example, by drawing up a document in which the recipient organisation undertakes to display your logo. However, simply purchasing a support card will be viewed by the tax authorities as a donation. A donation is not a professional cost in the accounts of a sole proprietor and therefore does not belong in your accounts. You can find more information in this article from the learning center: https://dexxter.be/sponsoring-of-gift-in-een-sole proprietor/
