Question

Dear Sir/Madam, I have purchased a new car and use it partly for my business.

How do I add the purchases to my expenses in Dexxter?

This is the answer from my accountant:

If we take 50% private and 50% professional, I arrive at the next breakdown:

  • Private: €18,781.62

  • Professional:Expenses: €15,522.00 + €1,629.81 (non-deductible vAT) = €17,151.81

  • Deductible vAT: €1,629.81

Hello,

You can do this in Dexxter by entering it as an investment and then selecting the 'passenger car' option. Just enter the percentages and how many years you want to depreciate it (5 years for a new car, 3 years for a second-hand car) and Dexxter will do the rest!

Best wishes and good luck from Gitta!
