How do I enter Mollie commission on webshop sale in my accounts?

Question

Hello everyone,

i don’t know how to enter the invoice I received on from Mollie when a sale is made through my webshop. I rarely sell through my webshop, so it’s always just a few euro cents, e.g. €0.39.

I know how to enter purchases I made abroad using the special VAT procedure. In the Mollie case, do I have to calculate 21% on €0.39, paid that amount in vAT and then also enter those few cents in Dexxter?

I look forward to your feedback.

Thank you and kind regards,

Sam (from Sam Serveert)

Yes, you do. It is indeed absurd because it costs the government (both here and in other EU countries) much more to process this data (at least in terms of electricity to power the computers that automatically check the bookings and sometimes also in terms of working hours for the civil servants who cannot spend that time on other tasks) than it yields.
