Correction how? vAT declaration investment instead of cost.

Question

I am self-employed in a secondary occupation and subject to VAT. I made a purchase that should have been entered in the accounts as an investment. However, I mistakenly entered it as a normal expense. This was already reported in the previous vAT declaration. Can this still be corrected?
