Good luck with your switch to your main occupation!
We are not "updated" to a main occupation; our focus is on student entrepreneurs and those with a secondary occupation. On the other hand:
Social security contributions:
As long as you are a sole proprietor, your social security contributions will be calculated correctly in Dexxter. As a student entrepreneur, social security contributions work a little differently, but as a secondary occupation entrepreneur (in a sole proprietor), it is almost identical to a main occupation entrepreneur (in a sole proprietor). The lower limit (i.e. the minimum you have to pay quarterly) for social security contributions differs between a secondary occupation and a main occupation. However, the calculation itself is the same, regardless of whether you have a sole proprietor as a secondary occupation (a function offered by Dexxter) or a sole proprietor as your main occupation.
Personal income tax:
Here too, the explanation is virtually the same as for social security contributions. We have not specifically updated for this, but the calculation itself does not differ greatly between an entrepreneur in a secondary occupation (sole proprietor) and an entrepreneur in a main occupation (sole proprietor).
From a security perspective, we can recommend that you, as a main occupation entrepreneur, contact an accountant (sooner or later, without obligation or with a firm commitment). This is because he or she will also be able to give you additional advice on matters such as: extra pension accrual as a self-employed person, insurance (in case of illness, guaranteed income, etc.), when to switch from a sole proprietor to a company, etc.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
