Subdivision of income

Question

Hey, I had a question about subdividing income. We have two types of income under our vAT number, but can I make a clear distinction between them when entering a sales invoice here so that I can see afterwards how much I earned for each activity?

The easiest way is to enter the invoice multiple times, but indicate in both the amount incl. VAT and the notes that it is only for the 0%, 6% or 21% part, even though the total amount from the invoice is higher. You then only enter the items that fall under the vAT percentage and leave out the other items (but refer to the other entries in the notes so that you can find them later).Johan

Hey, thanks for your answer. Perhaps I didn't explain it very well. It's about a subdivision of the income. We offer two services under our company number and I would like to split these on the year-end statement. This is to see how much income we get from each activity.

My apologies for the incorrect answer. I assumed it was about incoming invoices (which, of course, does not fit with 'income').

I'm afraid that's not possible in Dexxter because, unlike double-entry bookkeeping (which is obviously more expensive), you cannot subdivide your income into different categories. What you can do is give your sales items (whether goods or services) a numerical code instead of a name (to make it meaningful for accounting purposes, they all start with 7). You could, for example, have all services from one type start with 711 and those from the second type with 712. Then you can select invoices with items. However, this is more of a question for the Dexxter team itself. Hopefully, they will be able to give you a more accurate answer.

Thanks in advance for your help!
