Dear Sir/Madam,
If you have overpaid social security contributions and you receive a refund, does this also need to be entered in the accounts?
It is important for personal income tax purposes.
If yes, how?
Thank you in advance.

Take a look in the learning centre, there is a video from :)
Social security contributions refunded or something like that, you will find it immediately when you go to the social security contributions module and click on the learning centre open.
Refunds must also be entered, indeed, and it is important! Enter them in the year in which you receive the refund. This is because social security contributions always count for the year in which you actually paid them (or received them back). For a traditional expense, this is the invoice date; for social security contributions, it is the year in which you actually paid them.
HOW DO YOU ADD THE CREDIT NOTE FOR THE SOCIAL SECURITY REFUND? I DO NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE FROM XERIUS, SO I CANNOT FILL IN THAT INFORMATION IN THE CREDIT NOTE HERE ON DEXXTER.
You will receive a document from your social insurance fund, in your case Xerius, regarding the refund of your social security contributions. You will receive this document in any case.
You can use this document to enter the refund.
You really should try it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a company number yet, you can already go ahead.
