SME portfolio training

Hello, I had the same experience. I paid my share again into the SME portfolio and this was paid to the organisation together with the subsidy. Afterwards, I received the full amount back from the training organisation.

This was the answer from Dexxter support:

You should do this as follows. I will provide a fictitious example below :)
--------------------------------------100 euro excluding vAT to training costs (just as a fictitious example, so 121 euro total training costs booked with 21 euro vAT, 100 euro in costs)

You now want to offset 30 euros (30% SME portfolio compensation). Or whatever the amount/percentage may be, feel free to adjust where necessary.

You can then enter the SME portfolio as follows: first, simply enter the invoice at 100% so that you can also recover the vAT on the full amount.

Then enter the SME portfolio as an expense based on a document, but as a credit note (indicate this in step 2) that you do not want to include in the vAT declaration (you can also indicate this in step 2). This is for the amount of the 30% compensation and not on the vAT declaration because there is no vAT impact for the SME portfolio. You simply want to reduce the cost, because the impact of that SME portfolio must of course be reflected in the accounts.

You can therefore enter this credit note (for the SME portfolio compensation) in the same cost category as the training course you entered.
