Hello

I noticed that there is already a message about this, but I don’t quite acknowledge the answer.

How do I record the sales I make on Bol.com?

When I want to enter this under income, I can choose to create an invoice or download an invoice.

I downloaded the invoice and the document was retrieved, but then I was asked to fill in an invoice item even though I already have an invoice.

For the invoice item, I entered “Sales on Bol.com” as the description, the amount I receive from Bol, and what I sold in the box.

I then have to enter the commission for Bol.com as an expense in my expenses.

I hope I have entered it in a good way.

The summary from bol.com is only a summary of what you sold to other customers via the bol.com platform. You can use the invoice from Bol.com to enter the costs of the commission and stamps as expenses in your accounts, just as you would if you did a purchase elsewhere via a Dutch (web) shop, for example.

For the income you generate via bol.com, you must in principle issue an invoice for each customer, especially for business customers. Also, if you sell in the Netherlands, you must take OSS into account. If you sell more than €10,000 in turnover in the Netherlands, you must file your return via OSS (which is not possible with Dexxter).You can use Bolmate, which is software that generates an invoice for every purchase on bol.com that you can then enter into your accounts, as it also states the VAT breakdown. The bol.com summary does not show VAT, but you do of course have to pay vAT on these sales.

So basically, you have to split this up manually? Enter costs to Bol.com + shipping materials separately as expenses? Sell product as income?

Question about the commission to Bol: do you create a new expense account under general services with the title: commission to Bol?

I have recorded this separately under various financial costs and bank charges.

Do you know anything about how to book import costs, or do you not import from China? I'm not sure.

No, I don't import anything from China.
