Dear Sir/Madam,
I have just noticed that I forgot to enter my social security contributions from quarter 1 2022 and quarter 4 2021. This has no impact on the vAT amount, but it does affect the calculations of my net taxable income.
What is the best way to resolve this? Reopen quarter 1 2022 and enter the cost, or enter it in this quarter?

It does indeed have no vAT impact (never with social security contributions), but the quarter is closed and you can no longer enter anything in it, which is the problem, right? =) You could reopen it (for Q4/2021, because it's a other year), enter the social security contributions with the checkbox "Do not include in vAT declaration" (step 2, I think, if you enter something as an expense) and you're done. Then close your quarter and re-upload your receipt confirmation (otherwise you won't get a green tick on your timeline for that vAT deadline, I had to figure that out myself for something I had planned ;-) ).But for Q1/2022, just enter it in your current quarter? As long as the cost is in the right year, as you say yourself, there is no vAT impact. You can just keep the date that's on your document, but set the tax period to 04/2022. Then Dexxter (I think) won't make a fuss about your quarter being closed, because you're actually booking it in April/2022 and that month is still open.
Dexxter is a simple accounting package. It takes a little getting used to at first, but if you have simple accounts (even with vAT declarations), I find it's success.
